Word Fold

Word Fold is a word puzzle you play in the browser.

Slide one tile at a time. Letters lock into a real English word when they line up. Then smash two of those words together into a compound. CAT into FISH. CATFISH.

Play is untimed. Bigger boards show more words at once. Timed smash-up is a separate 7x7 / 8x8 race: smash every compound before the clock runs out. A small word adds a few seconds; a smash adds more.

How to play

1. Drag one tile. It slides until it hits a wall or another tile. Grey blockers move the same way.
2. Line up 3 or more letters in a straight line. If they spell a real word, they forge into one block.
3. Slide two word-blocks together to make a compound and clear the puzzle.
4. Hints are free. Beat your best move count on Scores.
